Hi, I'm Makenna!
I'M A WESTERN HERITAGE + RODEO PHOTOGRAPHER IN CALIFORNIA
I'm so honored you are here! Let me start off with a little about me. I am the owner and sole shooter at Makenna Caulfield Photography. I started doing photography when I was 11, but only recently in 2021 took the leap of offering my photography services full-time and traveling all over the Golden state capturing what I love the most, Agriculture and Rodeo. I love every aspect of photography, from the travel to the actual shooting, and delivery of the images!
I truly love working with folks involved in the Rodeo, Agriculture,Ranching, and Horse industries. Being brought up in those industries myself, has created a deep love within me for those family-based scenes. Capturing timeless moments within those, to be passed on for many generations is my goal.
As this way of life slowly decreases in California, I hope to be able to leave families an heirloom to cherish for many years.

When I'm not chasing white lines on the rodeo road or laying in the dirt to get a shot in, you can find me most likely riding my own horses or helping give youth riding lessons. What good is a life if you don't get to LIVE it? I choose to live my life in the fast lane and experience ever possible opportunity I come across. This allows me to meet and touch as many lives as I can. I have always been one to dream big and chase the stars, this has really only been possible by hard work and having a huge support system and Family, both blood and chosen, behind me encouraging me to pursue every wild dream and vision I have.
